Business Leaders Task Force

The Business Leaders Task Force was created to strengthen inclusive workplace practices.

Overview

Our community thrives when all our neighbors have an opportunity to access a quality education, a good job and can contribute to our economic growth.  Major employers in our region play an important role in expanding opportunity and recognize the importance of strengthening and diversifying workplace practices.

An initiative of the Greater Buffalo Racial Equity Roundtable, the Business Leaders Task Force includes 15 major local employers and three community partners who are collectively committed to finding new ways to share and create more inclusive practices and opportunities.

These leaders are willing to be open with each other and share successes and work together on addressing challenges. They are building community and capacity by sharing knowledge, resources and best practices. Additionally, they have supported other Roundtable initiatives including the Youth Employment Coalition’s Careerwise at Say Yes Buffalo, Buffalo Niagara Partnership Diversity and Inclusion Initiative and Employ Buffalo Niagara.
