Buffalo Purchasing Initiative Hosts Event at Roswell Park

On December 8, Roswell Park opened its doors to the Buffalo Purchasing Initiative (BPI) and hosted over 50 vendors to learn about their products and services.

The event was sponsored by Dr. Ellen Grant, Racial Equity Roundtable partner, and Deb Alessi, Vice President of Supply Chain Management, who coordinated their procurement team to be present and connect with BPI vendors.

“The atmosphere of this event was very nice. I received comments from vendors saying they felt a sincere effort from Roswell’s procurement team to learn about their services,” said Mauricio Canton Diaz, BPI Program Director. “They said it felt like we put in effort to get the right people in the room and left hopeful this event will lead to contracting opportunities with Roswell.”
